A comparative literary research project examining how Anton Chekhov’s themes and narrative techniques were adapted in twentieth-century Vietnamese literature. The study analyzes works by Nam Cao and Nguyễn Tuân to explore shared emotional landscapes, cultural divergence, and how writers across Russia and Vietnam used fiction to interrogate social change, moral responsibility, and human endurance.
