Xin chào · Здравствуйте · Hello
I'm a multi-disciplinary UX designer pursuing dual degrees in UX Design and Political Science at Purdue University, with minors in Russian, Anthropology, and Management.
I’m interested in how people navigate complex systems whether they are bureaucratic, digital, or cultural, and how design can make those systems more legible, humane, and accountable.
My academic background shapes how I think, not just what I study. Political science trained me to analyze power, incentives, and institutional behavior. Anthropology taught me to observe before assuming. Language study sharpened my sensitivity to meaning, context, and narrative. Together, they inform how I approach users, stakeholders, and systems that don’t behave rationally but do behave predictably once you understand the patterns.
Outside of school, I like picking up fun languages like Polish, Czech, Hungarian (yes, I clearly have a type, разве нет?). I enjoy fishing, baking, and playing video games on the weekends. I stay active enough to justify frequent chest days and a very selective relationship with leg day.
Good design doesn’t simplify reality.
It helps people navigate it.
